Jonathan Myette is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience helping adolescents, young adults, and families navigate challenges, build confidence, and create meaningful change.
His passion for this work is rooted in personal experience. After overcoming personal and family challenges, Jonathan found purpose in social work—shaping his belief that change is always possible in the present moment.
Jonathan began his career as an in-home therapist utilizing the Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT) model, working with adolescents involved in the judicial system and their families.
For 12 years, he has served as a school social worker at East Hartford High School, providing individual, group, and family-based support.
Now entering his fifth year as Director of the Student Assistance Center, Jonathan leads a school-wide support system, supervises graduate students, and has co-developed substance use intervention programming.
In addition to his clinical work, Jonathan has coached basketball for over a decade, achieving championship-level success.
He is also a published children’s author focused on self-esteem and confidence.
